Great Music. Great Cause.
Plans for a conservatory of music in Charlotte, NC are underway and we are excited to host the second annual Brass Spectacular benefiting the Launching Youth into Music initiative. The conservatory will expose children from low-income neighborhoods to a new life of artistic expression, discipline, and motivation.School budgets are facing dramatic cuts and with parents having to spend more time at work due to the economic downturn, we fear there will be few resources left for the children during those vulnerable after-school hours in our community.
We invite you to enjoy an inspiring evening of music on May 3, at 6 o'clock at CPCC's Halton Theatre, while learning about the rich culture of The Salvation Army's brass band tradition - all while helping young people who need it most.
